The web-based porting tool of corporate porting is geared to be self-service. The administrator only has to initiate the process; all other steps are handled by either the user themselves or the Corporate Porting tools and call center.
User involvement
Involving the user in the porting process guarantees data accuracy and partly gives the user control over the process.
Every user checks their personal information on the dedicated porting website correcting it where needed. They can also be asked to complete additional information if needed. This is the perfect way to update internal databases and directories.
Users have control where they want their new SIM card delivered (office, home, etc.) and can choose the day when they want to transfer to the new provider (within boundaries set by the administrator). This leniency ensures the process doesn’t interfere with the users schedule and keeps them happy and positive about the provider move!
Hands-off, in-control
While the self-service process is geared to be hands-off for the administrator, there is still a great means of control.
